Outriders players have been having issues with their armour since the latest update, but it turns out there's a simple furbish up - just take it off and then put it on again.

The literal trouble with Outriders player's armor isn't clear, but many people have taken to Reddit to complain about how squishy and insecure their characters seem since the fashionable update. Thorkle13, the exploiter who discovered the mending, did some testing and determined that their armour was only blocking about 10% of incoming damage before victimisation the trick, and 30-40% of damage afterwards. This is a marked betterment, though not of necessity a complete fix of the yield.

Some players imagine that it's caused by cutscenes, while another have pointed away that all their armor is flagged as new at the end of every expedition.
